OMAHA, NE- The Omaha Lancers will host the Youngstown Phantoms for the first time since January of 2019. The Lancers swept the Youngstown Phantoms last season in Youngstown with 167 penalty minutes recorded between the two clubs in two nights.

Lancers Look To Fend Off The Phantoms The Youngstown Phantoms have given up the fewest shots against allowing just 365 shots on goal through 16 games. The Lancers have controlled the all time series with the Phantoms holding a 13-7-1-1 all time record over Youngstown since the Phantoms joined the league in 2009. The Lancers and Youngstown have gone back and forth at Liberty First Credit Union Arena over the years. This will be the 9 th and 10 th meeting all time between these two clubs in Ralston with the Lancers holding a 3-3-1-1 record in Ralston when facing off with Youngstown. The Phantoms have struggled offensively in the second period so far this season scoring the fewest second period goals in the league with just 12 through 16 games. Youngstown is one of just two teams in the league so far this season that has yet to score an empty net goal with the other being the U.S. National Development Program. The Lancers and Phantoms have never suffered a shut out loss to one another. The Lancers are also undefeated all time against Youngstown when Omaha has scored at least 4 goals.
