FOUR LANCERS APPEAR ON FIRST CENTRAL SCOUTING LIST

Adam Israilov, Caine Bickel, Thaddeus McMahon and Alexander Woller have all appeared on NHL Central Scouting's Preliminary Players To Watch List for the 2027 NHL Draft.

Israilov leads the four Lancers, being listed as a 'C' rated prospect, indicating that he projects as a fourth or fifth-round selection. Bickel, McMahon and Woller all received 'W' ratings, projecting as sixth or seventh-round selections.

The list is the first of three highlighting draft-eligible players before the Draft June 25-26, 2027. Omaha's four players to appear on it are tied with Fargo, Madison, Muskegon, Tri-City and Waterloo for the fifth-most of any USHL team.

Israilov, 18, is in his second season with the Lancers and has 5 points (1+4) over his first 5 games of this season. He scored the game-winning goal in his season debut Oct. 10 at Cedar Rapids. The Lancers have picked up a point in three of the five games that Israilov has played in this season.

Last season, the Yekaterinburg, Russia, native recorded 30 points (10+20) over 56 games. He was fifth on the team in points and was one-of-nine Lancers with double-digit goals. Israilov finished the 2025-26 campaign with 14 points (2+12) over his final 16 games.

Bickel, 17, has 2 assists in 10 games in his first season in Omaha. He shined in the preseason, recording a point in all 4 games played and 5 points (2+3) overall. The Philadelphia native previously played for Seacoast Performance Academy and produced 150 points (80+70) in 61 games with its 16u AAA team in 2025-26.The Lancers selected Bickel in the second round of the 2026 USHL Phase II Draft and he skated at USA Hockey's National 18 Festival in Amherst, N.Y. in July. He is committed to play Division-I hockey at New Hampshire.

McMahon, 17, was selected by the Lancers first overall in the 2025 USHL Phase I Draft and made his debut last season, appearing in 13 games. He scored the game-winning goal in his USHL debut Sept. 18, 2025, vs. Green Bay. This season, McMahon has scored a goal and added an assist in 10 games. Last summer, the Quinnipiac commit also skated at USA Hockey's National 18 Festival before earning an invite to the US's Hlinka Gretzky Cup Selection Camp July 23-27 in Saint Paul, Minn.

Woller, 17, has signed a USHL Standard Player Development Agreement to play for the Lancers next season and played one game this past preseason. He is with the Fairbanks Ice Dogs in the North American Hockey League this season and is 2-1 with a 1.48 goals-against average and a .943 save percentage in four games.

The Lancers take on the Lincoln Stars for a home-and-home set this weekend. Tickets for Saturday's game can be purchased at lancers.com. Fans can watch or listen to both games on the Omaha Lancers Hockey Network via FloHockey or Mixlr.
