LANCERS OUTSHOOT STORM, SHUT OUT SATURDAY

A night after recording a shutout, the Omaha Lancers were shut out as they fell to the Tri-City Storm, 3-0, Saturday night at Liberty First Credit Union Arena.

Matthew Krayer added insurance at the 12:11 mark of the third and Dain Gordon iced the game with an empty-net goal at the 18:39 mark of the third.

Anthony Sciere made 30 saves in his fifth consecutive start of the season for Omaha, including stopping all 15 shots that he faced in the second period.

The Lancers have a home-and-home set with the Lincoln Stars next weekend. Omaha travels to Lincoln Friday for a 7:05 p.m. before hosting a 7:30 p.m. matchup on Halloween night. Tickets for all Lancers home games can be purchased at lancers.com
