Omaha Lancers

Thaddeus embarks on his second campaign with the Lancers in 2026-27.

The Lancers selected McMahon with the first overall pick in the 2025 USHL Phase I Draft. He wasted no time in making his presence felt, scoring the game-winning goal in the Lancers’ season-opening 5-4 win over the Green Bay Gamblers at the Dick’s Sporting Goods USHL Fall Classic. McMahon appeared in 13 games for Omaha before sustaining a season-ending injury in late October.

McMahon was busy this past summer, receiving several impressive invitations. He first skated at USA Hockey’s National 17 Festival in Amherst, NY, July 10-13 before earning an invite to the Hlinka Gretzky Cup Selection Camp July 23-27 in Saint Paul, Minn.

Before playing in Omaha, McMahon spent three seasons in the Chicago Mission AAA program. He recorded 62 points (8+54) in 60 games in 2024-25 at the 16U AAA level.

McMahon is committed to play Division I college hockey at Quinnipiac University.
