Lancers Set To Conclude The 2025-26 Season: The Omaha Lancers are gearing up for their final home game Friday night against the Sioux City Musketeers, followed by the season finale Saturday night in Lincoln, Nebraska, to take on the Lincoln Stars… The Omaha Lancers will not make the playoffs this season, which is a good thing for the rest of the league… The Lancers finished out the month of March at a record of 7-3-1-0, and netted 48 total goals… The Lancers had come off a stellar 3-2 victory over Lincoln Sunday evening (3/29), in what had a playoff-like atmosphere… The Lancers also had ended Sioux Falls' 9-game winning streak Thursday night (3/26) after defeating the 'Herd in overtime… Sioux City had come off a roller-coaster of a weekend after splitting with the Madison Capitols last weekend, before losing to the Tri-City Storm Sunday to round out their three-game weekend…

Lancers Keep On Rolling: The Omaha Lancers have rolled their way through the league as of late, thanks in large part to their high-octane offensive attack… The Lancers have outshot their opponents in 7 of their last 8 meetings and have averaged an eye-opening 4.75 goals per game in that span… The Lancers saw 9 different goal scorers over the three-game week last week… In fact, the Lancers had 17 different goal scorers in March alone, and 11 of those players recorded multiple goals during that same span… In March, the Lancers equaled their win total from the entire 2024-25 season…

Lancers' PK Figuring It Out?: The Lancers' penalty kill has gone perfect in 4 of their last 5 games… The one game the Lancers did not go perfect on the penalty kill was in the 6-4 loss to Waterloo last Friday night (3/27) … The other 4 games in which the Lancers went perfect, Omaha would go on to win each of those games… In fact, the Lancers are 14-8-0-1 this season when going perfect on the PK…

Lancers Host Their Final Home Game Against The Musketeers: The Omaha Lancers will look to end the home schedule on a high note against a team they have not defeated since New Year's Eve in 2023… Sioux City has defeated the Lancers in each of their last 12 meetings… However, the Lancers still hold the edge in the all-time regular season series between the two clubs… Friday night will mark the 255th all-time regular season meeting between these I-29 rivals, with Omaha holding an all-time record of 134-93-20-7… The Lancers hold a 7-5-1-0 all-time record against the Muskies in April during regular-season play… Sioux City leads the league in goals scored by d-men this season (36) …

Could Rocky And The Stars Slip Up Again?: The Lancers are 8-7-0-1 all-time in regular-season play when playing Lincoln in the month of April… In 4 of the meetings between Omaha and Lincoln this season, the Lancers have scored a game-tying or game-winning goal within the last 5 minutes of regulation… In Sunday's matchup, the Lancers held Lincoln to just 21 shots on goal, the fewest Omaha had allowed to the Stars since March 10, 2023…

Lancers To Watch: Lefty Markonidis has surged offensively as of late… The former Lincoln Star has recorded at least 1 point in 5 of his last 6 games… Since his arrival in Omaha back in late February, forward Artyom Prima has been superb… At just 17 years old, the Russian-born forward has scored 13 points (6+7) in 15 games, and is currently riding an 8-game point streak dating back to March 13th…

Musketeers To Watch: Defenseman Shayne Gould leads all USHL defensemen with 51 points (12+39) … The future UCONN Husky is also tied atop the league among d-men with 12 goals scored this season… The Lancers have given up more goals to opposing d-men than any other team in the league (38) … Forward Trey Jefferis has registered 51 points (27+24) this season… The third-year veteran has just one assist against Omaha this season…

Stars To Watch: Emery Ipsen has 34 penalty minutes this season… 32 of those 34 penalty minutes have come against Omaha, 15 of which came in a scrap with Ryan Aaronson last Sunday… Samuel Murin has found his groove in Lincoln as of late, recording 4 points (2+2) over the last three games… Lincoln lost both games that Layne Loomer missed last weekend, including last Sunday against Omaha... He is third in the USHL with 71 points and 41 assists...
