SIOUX CITY, IA- The Omaha Lancers faced off with the Sioux Musketeers Saturday Night in Sioux City, Iowa.

The Lancers had come off a tough 3-2 loss the previous night at the hands of the Lincoln Stars. In the first period, forward Dallas Vieau would open up the scoring for the Musketeers to help Sioux City get a 1-0 lead going into the second.

Early in the second period, Giacomo Martino would score another for the Muskies to make it 2- 0. Forward Nikita Klepov would widen the Sioux City lead even more after scoring and making it 3-0. Forward Trey Jefferis would tack on another for Sioux City to make it 4-0. However, the Lancers would go on the power-play late in the middle frame and Caden Lee scored to cut the deficit back to within three.

In the third, Sioux City would score once again as Dallas Vieau grabbed his second of the game to help cap off a 5-1 victory for the Musketeers. The Lancers are back in action tomorrow evening at the Liberty First Credit Union Arena against the very same Sioux City club.
