SCOTT PIETRUSZKA - MANAGING DIRECTOR

Scott Pietruszka is the Managing Director of the Omaha Lancers, bringing over three decades of experience in hockey development, coaching, and business leadership. With a career spanning from junior hockey in New Jersey and Minnesota to coaching and player development at the highest levels, Pietruszka's expertise in building elite athletes and strong hockey programs makes him a key leader in the organization.
Having previously served as an assistant coach and skills coach for the Lancers since 2021—and stepping in as interim head coach during the 2024 season—Pietruszka has firsthand experience with the team's operations, player development, and competitive structure. His deep understanding of the organization positions him to drive long-term success both on and off the ice.
Beyond his coaching career, Pietruszka has an extensive background in business and finance, having spent over a decade as a Managing Director on Wall Street. His expertise in financial strategy, risk management, and leadership translates directly to his role with the Lancers, where he focuses on operational efficiency, long-term growth, and ensuring the organization's success at every level.
A New Jersey native, Pietruszka has dedicated his career to advancing the sport. He has founded and directed multiple elite hockey training centers, training players at all levels, from youth hockey to NCAA Division I and the NHL. He has also worked internationally, serving as a development consultant in the KHL from 2010 to 2015, helping refine high-level talent and spearheading the design of state-of-the-art training facilities.
