PLYMOUTH, MI- The Lancers traveled to Michigan to take on the U-17 team of the U.S. National Team Development Program.
The Lancers started the scoring with forward Tanner Morgan on a Lancer power-play to put Omaha up 1-0. Shortly thereafter, defenseman Brian Lonergan netted another for the Lancers to extend the lead at 2-0. However, just minutes later forward Lukas Zajic would cut the deficit in half for the U-17s at 2- 1.
In the second period, forward Parker Trottier scores another for the U-17s to knot up the game at two goals apiece. Later in the middle frame, forward Wyatt Cullen scores another for the U-17s propelling them to a 3-2 lead going into the third period of play. In the third the U-17s hold the Lancers at bay leading to a 3-2 U-17 victory.
