Omaha Lancers

Yegor looks to build off an impressive rookie season as he returns to the Lancers for the 2026-27 campaign.

Kim led the Lancers with 5 power-play goals and finished fourth with 14 goals. His 59 games tied for the second-most among Lancers skaters and he was one-of-two Lancers to score a power-play goal and a shorthanded goal. Kim tied for 14th among USHL rookies in points (27) and was sixth in power-play goals. He recorded a season-best seven-game point streak Mar. 13-27, recording 13 points (5+8) over that span and never going back-to-back games without scoring a goal during it. Kim recorded seven multi-point games, with four of them coming in consecutive games Mar. 14, 15, 20 and 21. He produced two multi-goal games, Mar. 5 vs. Waterloo and Mar. 21 vs. USA Hockey NTDP’s U17s.

Following the 2025-26 USHL season, Kim skated for his home country in Division I Group A play at the World Junior Championship in Poland. He scored a goal and added 3 assists in 5 games to help Kazakhstan finish in second place.

Prior to playing for the Lancers, Kim spent the previous two seasons with the Cleveland Barons AAA program. He recorded 104 points (44+60) in 61 games with the 16U team in 2024-25 after producing 108 points (53+55) in 65 games with the 15U team in 2023-24.

The Lancers originally selected Kim in the first round of the 2025 USHL Phase II Draft with the fourth pick.
