Omaha Lancers

Ryan enters his second season with the Lancers in 2026-27. He recorded 24 points (16+8) in 58 games with the Lancers last season. He finished second on the Lancers in goals, third in game-winning goals (2), fourth in shots (115) and eighth in points. Aaronson opened the campaign on a heater, scoring a goal in six of the first 11 games and recording a point in all but three of those contests. He scored his first USHL hat trick Mar. 21 in a 10-0 win over USA Hockey NTDP’s Under-17 team. Aaronson concluded the season with 10 points (8+2) over 12 games.

Prior to playing for the Lancers, Aaronson won the Clark Cup as a part of the 2024-25 Muskegon Lumberjacks. He recorded 3 points (1+2) in 16 games. Aaronson scored his first USHL goal Nov. 2, 2024 at Cedar Rapids.

Aaronson’s other prior USHL experience includes three games with USA Hockey’s NTDP in 2023-24 as well as three games with the Dubuque Fighting Saints that same season.

The Lancers acquired Aaronson via trade with Muskegon June 26, 2025. Omaha also received defenseman Finn De St. Hubert and forward Kristan Reznicak in exchange for forward Niles Benson and future considerations.

Before playing in the USHL, Aaronson spent three seasons in the Chicago Mission AAA program. He picked up 41 points (29+12) at the 14U level in 2021-22.

Aaronson is committed to play Division I college hockey at Harvard University.
