Omaha Lancers

Carter continues his junior hockey career in the United States as he joins the Lancers for the 2026-27 season. Omaha selected him in the 11th round of the 2026 USHL Phase II Draft with the 166th pick.

Fogarty appeared in 24 games for the Drummondville Voltigeurs of the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League last season. He recorded 24 points (9+15) in 33 games, finishing third among Drummondville rookies. Fogarty produced five different multi-point games, including three three-point efforts. His finest game came Dec. 11, 2025 vs. Shawinigan, when he scored twice and added an assist in a 7-3 win.

Fogarty played in two different Canadian junior league teams last season, also appearing in the Ontario Junior Hockey League. He produced 29 points (14+15) in 15 games with the Pickering Panthers.

Fogarty previously spent the 2024-25 season in the Greater Ontario Hockey League with his hometown Sarnia Legionnaires. He recorded 57 points (29+28) in 48 games after appearing in 4 games for them in the 2023-24 season.

Carter is the nephew of Lancers head coach, Ron Fogarty.
