Omaha Lancers

Cam returns for a second season with the Lancers in 2026-27.

Caron led all Lancers with 61 games played in 2025-26. He ended the season on a four-game point streak (1+3) and with 6 points (3+3) over his final seven games. Caron recorded his first career USHL multi-goal game Mar. 15 vs. Lincoln when he tallied two goals 3:59 apart in the third period. The second goal came with 16 seconds left in regulation and forced overtime.

The Lancers acquired Caron Dec. 2, 2024 along with forward Davis Borozinskis and a 2025 Phase I fourth-round pick from Muskegon in exchange for forward David Deputy. Caron skated in one game with the Lumberjacks in 2024-25, making his USHL debut Sep. 22 vs. Sioux Falls. The Lumberjacks originally selected Caron in the fourth round of the 2023 USHL Phase I Draft with the 51st overall pick.

Caron spent the majority of the 2024-25 season with the Surrey Eagles in the British Columbia Hockey League. He recorded 32 points (12+20) in 41 games before adding three assists in five playoff games. It was Caron’s second stint in the BCHL after skating in two regular-season games with the Sherwood Park Crusaders in 2023-24. He then went on to record 5 points (3+2) in 9 playoff games.

Prior to his junior-hockey career, Caron played two seasons for New Hampton School in New Hampshire. He recorded 47 points (18+29) in 34 games in 2022-23 before picking up 44 points (19+25) in 28 games the next season, this time as an alternate captain.

Caron’s sister, Alexsa, is a goaltender at Stonehill College.

Caron is committed to play Division I college hockey at Northeastern University.
