LANCERS REVEAL 2026-27 SCHEDULE

26-27 schedule insta size

The Omaha Lancers have announced their 2026-27 schedule, the 40th season in franchise history.

The season begins in mid-September at the DICK'S Sporting Goods USHL Fall Classic, Sep. 16-19. The league will announce the exact dates and opponents for the Lancers' two games at a later date.

Omaha's first home games will be Sep. 25-26 vs. Des Moines. The Lancers' last home game is Mar. 26 vs. Sioux City before playing the last three games of the regular season on the road.

The 2026-27 schedule features 10 matchups against Tri-City, the most head-to-head with any opponent. Six of those games will take place at Liberty First Credit Union Arena. Omaha will face fellow in-state rival Lincoln nine times, with five games hosted in the Capital City.

Fourty four of the 60 games on the schedule (prior to the reveal of the Fall Classic schedule) are against Western Conference opponents. Omaha will face each Eastern Conference team at least two times. Chicago, Dubuque, Madison and Youngstown will all travel to Omaha. Cedar Rapids, Green Bay, Muskegon and USA Hockey's NTDP U18's will all host the Lancers for weekend matchups.

Omaha's longest road stretch of the season is three games, which takes place three different times (Sep. 2, 10, 16; Nov. 25, 27, 28; Dec. 29, 31, Jan. 2). The Lancers' longest string of consecutive home games is four games, which takes place Jan. 14, 16, 17 and 22. Omaha's busiest month of the year is January, in which it will play 11 times.

Stay tuned later this summer for announcements on Fall Classic opponents, a preseason schedule and a 40th anniversary logo unveiling. Ticket packages for the 2026-27 season can be purchased now by emailing tickets@lancers.com or by calling 402-344-7825.
